I told her about this tune and offered for her to write a second verse and a (rap type) third verse. And knocked it out start to finish in three days. This is not a full time thing yet. This show was on the air for 35 years! Back then they only allowed established signed acts to appear on the program. Having an unsigned artist was unheard of! The only unsigned act to ever appear in the history of the show?? Well the one and only Michael Tafoya with his band The B’zz.

It really is amazing thinking about all the bands that were around at the time that the B’zz appeared on this legendary show. The only unsigned band in the 35 year history of American Bandstand. Shortly after appearing on AB, they were signed to major record label Epic Records. Pretty impressive stuff I must say considering all the talent that was around at the time.

I’ve started on the new Lost Boyzz CD. Now to get Chris and Brad on board so it can see the light of day. Dave Angel and I are working Guide/stencil tracks and just about ready for the band to kick it it! Ready GuyZZ? This should be a quality ststement from The band Myself and David Angel.

Here’s the “Last Band” shot of the B’ZZ at a record store autograph / promo engagement. Then to the Odeum for a concert. That was Dave Angel’s last show. Shit was flying everywhere. And, we were nice cats, all of us! PLUS, we liked doing what we did. Man!?!
Volumes could and should be written on how to totally screw up …a ( your own as well ) Rock Band! It’s not hard. It does take work though. Lesson’s learned are what men are made of! And Boyzz/B’zz etc. hehe

Kirk and the whole bunch of them were a pure pleasure More great food here than I can choose from. Yeah! So, let’s enjoy the 4th of July on the Mississippi River at one of the coolest spots The Lost Boyzz have had the pleasure playing.
